Pulled Muscle


For the past couple of weeks I have not only been pushing my body with a new, rigorous running schedule. I have also continued TKD classes 3 nights a week. I am about to test for my second degree black belt, and I know that this test is a now or not for a long time kind of thing. I know I can’t continue this once the mileage really kicks up. My muscles are fatigued, and I know I am risking injury because of it. I just need to hold out for two more weeks.

And then it happened. I wasn’t even training. I slipped on some wet tiles while the kids were in the bath and pulled the muscle in the back of my thigh. It is not that bad, but it is not good. Trying to figure out how to best handle this new training hurdle.
