Marathon Training, Week 5

I could not stop going to Taekwondo classes this week if I plan to test for second degree in two weeks, so I skipped a three mike run to give my leg a little time to heal before Saturday’s long run. It was a good plan because the 9 mile run was great. Nice cool weather, no pain, chocolate Gu that didn’t make me gag, and no telling my brain to shut up and run because I was in the moment.

The one thing I am trying to figure out is what to wear. The temperature is suddenly cool. I can’t quite figure out what to wear to be comfortable in the 40s, 50s, and whist about when it gets down to 20s? Do I need a jacket, tights, capris, hat, long sleeves, arm warmers? Just under 400 miles left to run and time to figure it out.
