A Little Bit of Science and a Whole Lot of Seuss

Last week was really a blur.  Brilliant B completed her ballet physics project for the Currclick science fair.  It was a fun project for her because it was about ballet.  I loved that it secretly taught her about the scientific method, applied geometry, and also some video editing.  She is already thinking about what she might want to do next year, so I guess that means it was a success!

In other news, I felt like it was time to start throwing in some Life of Fred into math and see what happened.  Although B has been known to fuss and cry over math (even though she is more than capable and able to work above grade level), she was really into the first chapter of Life of Fred–Jelly Beans and asking for more.

In other news, we spent every night at the theater getting ready for Legohead L’s production of Seussical Jr.  Oh, how I love Dr. Seuss!  His work is timeless and has the ability to reach both children and adults alike.  Both of my kids loved Green Eggs and Ham most of all.  I must have read that book a million times between the two of them.

Oh the thinks you can think when you think about Seuss!
